What type of scientific knowledge do aliens retrieve when they rectally probe unsuspecting male specimens?

Well, I cannot speak for other aliens but I have no need of such evasive practices. I know enough about the human digestive system without poking things about all willy nilly and such. I am more of a researching alien.
