Could i make my High School Baseball Team?

Im a sopre and im going to tryout for the baseball team. Last year i didnt make it but i kind of think that it was rigged for the travelers because there were a lot of people that did really well that werent travelers that didnt make it. But this year, i've been told that around 5 of the 20 that made it arent going to play this year. Im going to tryout for 3B and maybe pitching. The farthest ive thrown with accuracy is from 265 ft into outfield to homeplate. I just started pitching last season i've been clocked at around low-middle 70's and i have a good splitter and a pretty good curve, and i usually either strike the hitter out or walk them (against in-house hitters, idk about travel cause i've never played it). I've been steadily increasing in my hitting over last 3 seasons, last season was first time i hit a home run and i went on to hit 7 more. And usually i dont make any errors. The errors i do make are usually throwing errors. Should i tryout for pitching or will it only hurt my chances? Do you think i will make team even though there are still a lot of great players?
