Is the U.S. Economy on the brink of collapse?

If, as Obama wishes in warm, socialistic embrace of the "global economy", the dollar ceases to be the world's standard as is being discussed RIGHT NOW in Pittsburgh, then YES. But then our playing fields would then be "leveled", after all, with countries such as ZIMBABWE since no "one power can lead" in the "global society"! After hearing Obama's UN speech, I think my (until now) use of "TRAITOR" can be justified along with "pompous", "self-important", and "demigod"... Commander in Speech. Will our food eaten from sacks labeled "FROM THE PEOPLE OF CHINA"? We will only have to wait and see the fruits of our new "think globally" lock steppers who elected this mess... To coin a phrase: "For the first time in my adult life, I am ashamed of my country."
