sounds like he's just saying things to please you and everyone else. If he really loved you, he would try to find out the truth of why you wanted to break up. Esp if things were going well. He wouldn't be out with this girl. Anyway, it hurts now and you will learn more about guys. It's very hard to date long distance esp from a man's pov. They have a hard time staying committed w/o their love around.
