What type of small breed dog doesnt get "small dog syndrome"? (no frazzle breeds)?

going to get a small dog, want one that isnt known to get small dog syndrome. I know chi's and pomeranians get it. What breeds are not known for it? Please no frazzle or curly haired dogs like shihtzus, maltese's, poodles, etc.
