Help with getting a car back to its normal shiny look?

you can't just spray paint and clear a car like you would with anything else there are more steps to it than that. now that you've messed it up you need to re sand the door panel. use Primer (follow the directions on the can), then sand it smooth with 220 grit sand paper. Next you will need to put several LIGHT coats of paint on the door allowing sufficient time to dry between coats as per the on can directions. once you're happy with the color and confident that you have built up a heavy enough coat of paint, you do nothing to it until it is FULLY cured. Now its time to wet sand with 320 or higher (below 1000). once you wipe it clean with water it should already look pretty nice. Now is the time to clear it again with several light coats. once it is fully cured you wet sand with 600, then 1000, and again with 2000. If it still looks a bit hazy you can go to a finer grit paper.
